Project: Lamp for a pavillion at Roskilde Festival
25 3D-printed parametric lamp “shades” for the pavilion Rehearsals of Belonging 2.0 created by architect and designer Mikkel Nielsen and artist Bartek Arobal Kociemba. The pavilion was part of the Art & Activism initiative at Roskilde Festival 2025.
The lamps are printed in transparent recycled PETG arrived from plastic waste from the medical industry.
According to the designer, the 3D printing method was chosen because, among other things, it minimizes waste, extend the life cycle of materials, and make elements reusable after the festival. The lamps will subsequently be exhibited as an example of how temporary architecture can create circular and sensory solutions in construction.
