In noisy environments such as open-plan offices, institutions, reception areas, etc., sound-absorbing ceiling panels can create a noticeable improvement. Ceiling panels are a great solution in spaces where wall space is limited. They can be placed according to the source of noise or cover the entire ceiling if necessary.
At MDT A/S, we have developed a series of lightweight elements by combining our lightweight material, PreBeam®, with sound-absorbing panels available in various colors and customizable prints.
Our sound-dampening options for the ceiling include:

- Ceiling panels in various shapes and colors, designed to optimize sound absorption

- The absorbent material is PET, a large proportion of which is recycled.
- Resistant to aging and various environmental influences.
- Fire retardant according to DIN 4102 (B1).
- Free of harmful substances and completely without chemical additives.
- Our sound-absorbing sheets are stocked in the size 2000×3000 mm.
- White, black, light gray and dark gray sheets are stocked in thicknesses of 9, 25 and 40 mm.
- Sound absorption class A.
Additional properties about PreBeam®
- The panels can be fitted with LED lights.
- When using Prebeam®, the individual panel is strengthened so that the panel is stable. The sides typically have a thickness of 65mm, where LED lights and mounting can easily be hidden away.
- The sides of the panel are available in wood laminate (which can be painted), plywood or aluminium.
- Colors and dimensions on the pages can be customized.
